Sword Services Greece S.A is looking for an IAM Architect. The successful candidates will work in a multicultural environment supporting our core business in large Information Systems for the European Commission. Responsibilities
  • Key tasks include designing and overseeing the implementation of identity and access management (IAM) solutions in Azure, including Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Ensure alignment of IAM strategies with ECHA’s enterprise architecture, governance, and security models.
  • Define and implement policies for authentication, authorisation, identity lifecycle management, and federation across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Apply FinOps principles by recommending IAM solutions that balance security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness within ECHA’s Azure environment.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure consistent identity integration, seamless user experience, and secure access across systems.
  • Contribute to the IAM roadmap and Azure transition planning, ensuring interoperability with legacy systems and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR, EU security frameworks).
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience as an identity and access management architect / senior engineer performing above key tasks.
  • An excellent command of the English language, corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
  • The ability to clearly communicate, draft documents, and actively participate in meetings and presentations in English is essential.
Required Skills
  • Experience in identity and access management solutions.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory and related IAM technologies.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as GDPR.
Pay range and compensation package

Duration of this activity is 9-12 months, and onsite presence will be required (max 20%).
