Wärtsilä is actively seeking a Vibration Engineer in Vaasa, Finland, to deliver noise and vibration analyses and measurements for marine projects. The role involves factory acceptance testing, reporting, and collaboration within a global team, with a flexibility for hybrid work.

The ideal candidate holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering with a strong math and physics background, and is proficient in vibration analysis and MS Office.

Competenze

• Strong background in mathematics and physics.
• Fundamental knowledge of structural dynamics, vibration and modal analysis.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Finnish/Swedish a plus.

Mansioni

• Perform noise and vibration measurements during engine factory acceptance tests.
• Participate in delivery projects as the Noise & Vibration Engineer in the project team.
• Perform torsional vibration calculations in both frequency and time domains.
• Perform resilient mounting calculations.
• Create technical specifications in accordance with internal standards.
• Prepare and deliver detailed measurement and calculation reports to customers and classification societies.
• Provide technical expertise and support to internal and external stakeholders on noise and vibration topics.
• Develop measurement and analysis methodologies and technical solutions.
