Job summary

Ryan LLC in Helsinki seeks a VAT Recovery Consultant to support clients on VAT matters, identify improvements, and ensure compliant, efficient VAT processes. You will analyze data, advise on VAT issues, and collaborate with finance, legal, and tax teams to deliver practical VAT solutions.

The role requires a degree in Accounting/Finance and strong client-facing, analytical, and communication skills, with fluency in Finnish and English. Hybrid work environment with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Relevant experience or strong interest in VAT or VAT Recovery.
• Client-facing experience and strong communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with ability to interpret VAT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VAT reviews and audits to identify improvements and propose solutions.
• Advise clients on VAT compliance and VAT-related issues in line with laws and regulations.
• Gather, analyze, and make recommendations based on client data to improve operating efficiencies and costs.
• Analyze VAT regulations and keep clients updated on changes in legislation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, tax) to deliver integrated VAT solutions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
