Job summary

Ahlstrom is seeking a Treasury Specialist to join the Group Treasury team. The role is full-time and permanent, based at our Espoo headquarters with hybrid work between the Espoo office and home. You will support Treasury Back Office, Treasury Reporting and Risk Reporting activities, collaborating across the team and with subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• Ongoing or completed university studies in finance, accounting, business administration or another relevant field.
• Proactive, accurate and reliable with ability to organize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong digital literacy and interest in banking/treasury systems.
• Collaborative mindset with clear verbal and written English communication.
• Willingness to learn and develop in treasury back-office activities.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership for reconciliation and settlement activities for all treasury transactions.
• Handle Treasury Back Office operations: settlement, accounting, cash pool, and reconciliations.
• Support month-end closing and reporting, and interact with external counterparties.
• Assist Treasury Controller with period-end closing tasks and debt portfolio reporting.
• Support the Factoring Manager with weekly activities and cash flow forecasting.
• Monitor weekly group cash flow vs forecasts and aid process improvements.
• Participate in treasury projects and back-office system enhancements.
