Responsibilities

As HVAC & Piping Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, cost-effective, and timely HVAC and piping solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the background design of HVAC & piping systems across global projects.
  • Coordinating design tasks and information flow between internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
  • Preparing technical specifications, scope of supply, and engineering schedules.
  • Supporting procurement with purchase requests and inspection/test plans.
  • Acting as the technical liaison during meetings with yards, owners, and classification societies.
  • Driving continuous improvement through ALMACO’s Quality System.
We’re Looking For Someone With
  • 5+ years of experience in shipbuilding or offshore industry.
  • Deep knowledge of HVAC/Piping design, manufacturing, and installation.
  • Familiarity with construction practices, certifying authority requirements, and international standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and ideally AVEVA.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
