Job summary

DCS Norway is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to lead electrical construction activities for high-voltage substation EPC projects across Norway and Europe. You will manage on-site electrical installation works, supervise subcontractors and labour, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, quality, and timely delivery in line with project specifications and schedules.

The role requires strong HV knowledge, the ability to read electrical schematics, and hands-on

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working on high-voltage substations, transmission, or power infrastructure projects.
• Experience working within live electrical environments under permit-to-work and isolation systems.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary construction and commissioning teams.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, protection schemes, and single-line diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Site Management: Manage all electrical construction activities across the project site and coordinate with civil, mechanical, and commissioning teams.
• Installation Oversight: Oversee HV, MV, and LV installations and ensure compliance with drawings and standards; manage energisation and permit processes.
• Coordination and Interfaces: Lead site coordination meetings and manage interfaces between disciplines to avoid conflicts.
• Quality and Compliance: Monitor installation quality and support inspections, testing, and commissioning readiness; address non-conformances.
• Programme and Performance Management: Track progress against schedules and KPIs; report to Project Director and team.
