We are looking to hire a key person to Orion responsible for supporting the whole employee life-cycle by guiding managers, fostering positive workplace dialogue, managing recruitment processes and ensuring compliance with labor regulations. About Your Role
We're looking for a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist with at least three years of experience to further strengthen our local HR support. In this role, you'll work closely with managers to provide HR support especially in recruitments and assessments. Additionally, your broad HR knowledge will help in guiding managers also in other HR areas, making a tangible impact on our organization's culture and success.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Partner with managers to provide comprehensive HR support, including recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
- Act as a project manager for recruitment processes—owning the timeline, communication, and coordination of all stakeholders.
- Administer HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency across the organization.
- Handle employee relations issues with sensitivity and professionalism, offering guidance and conflict resolution as needed.
- Provide coaching and training to managers and employees in HR topics.
- Support talent management initiatives, including employee engagement, development, and retention programs.
- Support and coordinate HR matters on a country level with relevant stakeholders and participates in development processes in HR area.
- Support for global HR business partners in all HR administrative matters.
- Stay current with HR trends and best practices to recommend and implement process improvements.
You will report to the Head of HR Operations, Finland in the People & Culture -function. You can be based in one of our main offices in Finland, preferably in Espoo or Turku. This is a permanent full-time position and will start as soon as possible, but we are flexible regarding the start date.

Our expectations
To succeed as our new HR Generalist, you should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role, preferably in a global expert organization.
- Good understanding of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration.
- A genuine enthusiasm for recruitment—you enjoy leading hiring processes and see them as a key part of building a great organization.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations in Finland.
- Fluent in Finnish, working knowledge of English.

Our task is to create a consistent, inspiring employee experience and support organizational capability development globally. We execute our mission through high-quality HR services and processes with the support of world-class HR professionals.
We have newly established People & Culture organization from which you have four HR Generalist as your colleagues and Head of HR Operations who all will support you in your daily work. In addition of that you have a lot of other HR professionals which are experienced on their own fields of work and happy to cooperate with you when it comes more complicated HR related topics.
