Job summary

Arctic Skylight Lodge in Äkäslompolo, Finland, is seeking a Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The position starts in December and runs until the end of March. Work is 30 hours per week with accommodation available 1.5 km from the hotel.

No prior experience is required, but flexibility and the ability to work independently are valued. A valid driver’s license is required to access the site, and transport to the units is by car.

Job description

Arctic Skylight Lodge is a hotel that opened in 2020, located less than 5 km from the center of Äkäslompolo. The setting is truly unique, with all of our buildings nestled in the middle of the forest. Our facilities include 10 glass-roofed accommodation units, a glass-walled restaurant, and a stunning lakeside sauna with an outdoor hot tub offering views of the river and the opportunity for ice swimming throughout the winter.

We are looking for a Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. We value flexibility and the ability to work independently. Previous work experience is not required, but it is considered an advantage.

Applicants must have:

• A valid driver’s license
• The ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle, as transportation to the accommodation units is done by car

The position starts in December and continues until the end of March. Salary is negotiable based on experience. We are looking two employees to join our team. Work time is 30 h/week.
