Job summary

Tapiola home care is seeking a practical nurse to provide in-home care in Espoo. You will administer medications, support hygiene, assist with meals and apply and remove stockings while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You will use LifeCare records, Evondos and Axitare dispensers, and participate in planning using LifeCare tools. The role emphasizes strong communication, responsibility and teamwork, with a two-shift pattern that covers all days.

Qualifications

• Fluent Finnish, both spoken and written is required.
• Experience with elderly and home care settings is preferred.
• Valid medication licenses or completion of medical exams before employment (employer provides exam materials and tests).
• Hold the protected professional title Lähihoitaja and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration
• Hygiene care
• Ensuring meals
• Applying and removing support stockings
• Wound care when needed
• Support is provided by home care supervisors, therapists and the home care doctor
• Use LifeCare for patient records and RAI for functional capacity assessment
• Work with modern technology including Evondos and Axitare dispensers, LifeCare records and planning tools
• Two-shift role covering all days of the week
• Influence own shifts at Tapiola home care
