Job summary

Crown is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join our European team on a major mission-critical construction project in Vaasa, Finland. You will promote a strong safety culture, perform site inspections, RAMS, toolbox talks and provide practical guidance to project teams on a large-scale roofing, cladding and façade package, with a 17 days on / 4 days off rotation.

Minimum 3 years' experience in a Health & Safety role within construction; NEBOSH GC or Construction Certificate;

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role within the construction industry.
• A relevant Health & Safety qualification such as NEBOSH General Certificate, NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent (NEBOSH Diploma desirable).
• Experience in roofing, cladding, façades or large-scale construction projects is advantageous.
• Full driving licence and right to work in the EU/UK.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture across the project.
• Ensure compliance with Finnish legislation, client requirements and Crown's Health & Safety Management System.
• Carry out regular site inspections, audits and safety observations (RAMS reviews).
• Identify risks and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Provide practical health and safety advice to project teams.
• Monitor subcontractor safety performance and reporting.
