A local hospitality business in Joensuu is seeking a Head Chef to oversee kitchen operations, design menus, and ensure high-quality food preparation. The role involves collaborating with the front-of-house staff, recruiting and training the kitchen team, and managing inventory. This is a unique opportunity to help launch a new restaurant scheduled to open in March 2026. Competitive salary based on experience is offered.
As the Head Chef at Robbie’s Kitchen & Bar you will be responsible for the overall operations of our kitchen. You will design and develop the menu together with the owners, prepare dishes and ensure that our food is high-quality, prepared from fresh ingredients, and reflects international influences with a local twist. You will work closely with the front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience and will participate in sourcing ingredients and managing inventory. The contract starts in February 2026 and the restaurant will open in March 2026, so you will be instrumental in creating and launching a new and inspiring restaurant from day one.
