Job summary

Rukapalvelu Oy is seeking guides for the Christmas season in Kuusamo. The position runs from 28.11 to 28.12.2026 with potential extension. Guides will work with international guests, leading snowshoeing trips, snowmobile safaris, ice fishing and koskikellunta, while ensuring safety and a magical atmosphere.

Responsibilities include participating in Christmas-themed program bundles in close collaboration with the team. Accommodation may be provided in Ruka if needed.

Qualifications

Experience as a guide is required.
Independent and responsible work attitude.
Good interaction skills and customer service orientation.
Fluent English (other languages are a plus).
Of legal age and hold a B driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Guide groups through winter activities (snowshoeing, snowmobile safaris, ice fishing).
Ensure guests' safety, comfort and a magical trip atmosphere from start to finish.
Participate in Christmas-themed program bundles in collaboration with the team.

As a guide you will work with international guests, guiding groups through spectacular winter scenery and leading activities such as snowshoeing trips, snowmobile safaris, ice fishing and koskikellunta. Your duties include ensuring guests safety, comfort and that the trips' atmosphere remains magical from start to finish. You will also participate in Christmas-themed program bundles in close collaboration with the rest of the team when needed.
