Qualifications

• Proven software engineering experience in backend or distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Go or a comparable statically typed language.
• Hands-on experience with containerized environments such as Docker.
• Experience building or operating production systems with reliability and correctness.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databases.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using AI/LLM tools to assist software development.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain components of the payload downlink pipeline (decoding, error correction, decryption, routing).
• Design for reliability and handle edge cases in a latency-sensitive system.
• Debug and resolve production issues with the team.
• Write clean, tested Go code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with ground station, downlink, and data teams to ensure end-to-end data flow.
