Job summary

Orion Pharma seeks a Project Manager for a two-year fixed-term role at the Fermion production plant in Oulu. You will drive development initiatives across Oulu and Hanko, harmonize processes, and improve operating models in a GMP-regulated environment.

You will work with multiple teams to identify opportunities, turn insights into practical solutions, and lead projects from concept to implementation, including 5S and documentation updates.

Qualifications

• A relevant technical or scientific degree (e.g. M.Sc. in Engineering, Engineer, or M.Sc. in a relevant scientific field).
• Strong ability to understand complex environments, see the bigger picture, and quickly adapt to new processes and ways of working in a changing manufacturing environment.
• Cost-conscious and business-oriented mindset with the ability to identify efficient and practical solutions.
• Structured, proactive, and self-driven approach to work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and sites.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Finnish skills.
• Willingness to travel between production sites in Oulu and Hanko.

Responsibilities

• Developing and harmonizing production equipment cleaning processes and related documentation.
• Coordinating development of controlled substance handling processes.
• Strengthening collaboration between production, QA, and lab functions.
• Driving implementation and continuous improvement of 5S practices.
• Leading development projects from concept to implementation.
