Valmet seeks a Global Technology Manager for Board & Paper Field Services to propel Resource Efficiency and Analyses offerings. Based in Jyväskylä, Tikkurila, or Raisio, you will lead global product strategy, guide R&D collaboration, and support sales with innovative solutions. Travel about 50 days/year is expected.

Ideal candidates hold a engineering degree (master’s preferred) and have strong business and communication skills to drive growth and reference-case development across geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering related science required, master’s degree preferred.
• Good understanding of and experience in board and papermaking processes.
• Proven business-minded approach and understanding of value chains with strong project management skills.
• Innovative mindset for solving challenges and creating new technologies.
• Strong written and verbal English, with presentation and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 50 days/year).

You will be part of the Spare Parts and Field Services Technology Unit and responsible for the Field Services offer in your own responsibility area.
