Job summary

Normet Group is seeking a Global Technical Training Specialist to coordinate worldwide training activities from Iisalmi, Finland. You will develop materials, work with R&D, Production, Service Centers, and Sales, and report to the Global Technical Support Manager. The role is based in Iisalmi, with collaboration across global teams.

You will organize training sessions, create engaging content, and ensure materials stay current while supporting SMEs and technical experts in multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Relevant working experience in technical training, technical documentation, technical support, communications, coordination, or similar roles.
• Education/experience in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, machinery, maintenance or related field.
• Experience with MS Office tools and documentation.
• Fluent English written and spoken; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate global technical training activities, schedules, facilities, participants, and SME participation.
• Create, update, and maintain training materials, presentations, guides, and documentation with SMEs.
• Take photos/videos of machines and maintenance activities for training purposes.
• Maintain training content libraries and ensure accessibility and up-to-date materials.
• Prepare training announcements and communications for internal and external audiences.
• Arrange factory training visits and logistics; manage resources and venues.
• Support trainers and SMEs in classroom, workshop, and practical sessions.
• Maintain training participation records and gather feedback.

Global Technical Training Specialist

To coordinate global technical training activities at Iisalmi and produce training materials for Normet Group. In this role you will work together with the Global Technical Support team and collaborate with R&D, Production, Service Centers, and Sales functions across the world, reporting to Global Technical Support Manager. The role is based in Iisalmi, Finland.

Main Responsibilities And Tasks

• Coordinate technical training activities, schedules, facilities, participants and Subject Matter Expert participation. Create, update, and maintain training materials, presentations, visual guides, and supporting documentation in collaboration with internal stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
• Take and organize photos and basic videos of machines, components, maintenance activities, and training exercises for training purposes
• Maintain training content libraries and ensure training materials remain organized, accessible, and up to date
• Coordinate training invitations, participant communication, attendance lists, and follow-up activities
• Prepare training announcements and communications for internal and external audiences
• Coordinate factory training visits and practical arrangements, including schedules, facilities, equipment, visitor logistics, and training resources
• Coordinate SME participation and ensure training agendas are supported by the appropriate technical experts
• Support trainers and SMEs in the preparation and delivery of classroom, workshop, and practical training sessions
• Maintain training participation records, collect training feedback, and support training administration activities

To Shine In This Position, We Hope You Have

• Relevant working experience in technical training, technical documentation, technical support, communications, coordination, or similar roles
• Previous experience or educational background related to machinery, automotive technology, mechanical engineering, maintenance, industrial equipment, or a similar technical field
• Relevant education or working experience, preferably in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, machinery, maintenance or another technical field
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams
• Experience with basic photo, video, and multimedia editing tools
• Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
• Ability to work effectively with technical experts and stakeholders in a multinational environment
• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken; other languages are considered an asset
• Previous training, event coordination, documentation, or communications experience is considered beneficial
