Job summary

IOTA Group seeks a Commissioning Engineer for Medium-Voltage Switchboards. The role focuses on professional on-site commissioning and technical support for complex MV power distribution projects.

You will perform start-up activities, assess installations, adjust operations, and contribute to site interventions in an international, high-performance environment. The candidate should have 5+ years in commissioning or field service, MV systems experience, and fluency in English (B2+).

Qualifications

• Electrotechnical qualification; university degree is an advantage.
• 5+ years of commissioning/field service experience.
• Experience with medium-voltage distribution systems and switchboards.
• Knowledge of protection relays, automation basics and MV electrical principles is a plus.
• Fluent English; minimum B2 level.
• Strong analytical and autonomous work approach.
• Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up and commissioning across the full MV range.
• Assess installation and operating condition of equipment and systems.
• Carry out on-site adjustments to optimise performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality, software or operational issues.
• Support site interventions with other service engineers and partners.
• Document test results and prepare site intervention reports.
• Provide customers with basic training on equipment operation.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on MV equipment.
