Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Ltd. in Lahti seeks a Building Services Manager to lead the building services team and coordinate external contractors across multiple facilities within the data center campus.

You will drive maintenance programs, safety audits, and service quality to ensure reliable operations. Ideal candidates possess a technical qualification in Facilities Management or related field, hands-on vendor management experience, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification in Facilities Management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or Building Services.
• Experience in building services and vendor management in data centers or similar environments.
• Proficiency with related software/tools and knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Excellent English communication; Finnish knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building services team for day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate external contractors and service providers (cleaning, waste, landscaping, repairs).
• Ensure facilities are inspected and maintained to prevent downtime.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure services meet agreements.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and conduct risk assessments.
