Job summary

Outokumpu is seeking a Concept Owner, Controlling & Treasury to design and own global Controlling & Treasury solutions with strong governance and documentation. You will align IT services with enterprise architecture, ensure security and resilience, and drive continuous improvement across the portfolio.

You will lead IT–business collaboration, define roadmaps, manage budgets, and oversee IT strategy for treasury services, including vendor management and cross-functional engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent qualifications.
• Practical SAP experience focusing on FI/CO.
• Deep knowledge of Finance and controlling processes.
• SAP project experience and ability to customize SAP.
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Understanding Treasury processes in a commodity environment; knowledge of Finastra, 360T, Nomentia, Quantum is advantageous.
• Knowledge of IT architecture.
• Analytical, proactive, and improvement mindset.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Manages IT services and application tasks, including vendor management.
• Translates business requirements into functional specifications for non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensures services and applications are available, secure, and perform effectively.
• Monitors service performance and user satisfaction.
• Drives standardization, automation, and improvement initiatives.
• Reports service performance to the business.
• Manages license and 3rd party-service contracts within the service area.
• Designs Controlling & Treasury solution globally with governance and documentation.
• Conducts current state assessments to identify gaps and align system functionality with business objectives.
• Prepares budgets and forecasts, ensuring compliance and cost-efficiency.
• IT strategy definition and execution for controlling and treasury services across their lifecycle.
