A leading technology company in Finland seeks a Full Stack Web Developer to join their Harvest software team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a SaaS service focused on forest management, requiring expertise in web applications, Angular, and Java. Ahoy! The experienced Harvest software team is looking for a new team mate. WoodForce (CFHarvest) is a software service specialized in the planning and control of harvesting, forest management and forest improvement and is part of Trimble Forestry's CONNECTED FOREST product family. Our team develops and maintains SaaS service, widely used in Finland and growing fast internationally.
You can participate in all software development tasks from design to implementation and deployments. You will develop new features for our existing software as well as fix bugs. The team mainly consists of full stack developers, with a need to strengthen frontend development capabilities. You will implement new user interfaces and ensure flawless end user experiences in web and mobile applications.
We expect you to know how to develop web applications, how to technically design and implement easy-to-maintain software, and to be able to read and understand large code bases. Working with a feature-rich SaaS service with many integrations, web and mobile applications and wide supported use cases is hard but rewarding. You enjoy solving problems and are open to AI-powered development tools. This role requires excellent problem solving skills and being a good team player. Fluent English is required; Finnish is a big plus. Previous forestry industry experience is not required.
University degree in the field is appreciated.
You can work at our office in Espoo (5 minutes from Leppävaara train station) or in Jyväskylä, Mikkeli or Kouvola. Flexible hours and hybrid working model; full remote options may be considered if you live outside the office locations.
