Job summary

Safartica Oy in Rovaniemi is seeking a Front Desk professional to greet guests with warmth, handle reservations, and provide outstanding service across in-person and phone channels. You will work closely with guides, equipment, operations and sales to deliver seamless experiences in Lapland.

Responsibilities include walk-in and FIT sales, managing bookings on Travus, Bokun, Hotellinx, and Mews, and delivering customer service for Ounasvaaran Lakituvat Chalets.

Qualifications

• Excellent English skills (Finnish or French as a bonus)

Job description

Front Desk is the face of our organization. We always meet the clients with big heart and professionalism. We enjoy working with clients with a true passion to create an unforgettable experience in Lapland. Front Desk is the heart of our operation. We work closely together with other departments merging the full service together for our guests. Daily co-operation with our guides, equipment team, operations and sales is a big part of our job. Front Desk is the professional of walk in and FIT sales. We take care of the sales and customer service for clients walking in to our office in Rovaniemi city center. Sales done through phone calls, emails and online channels are also part of our expertise. Front Desk works as a reception for Ounasvaaran Lakituvat Chalets. We handle accommodation reservations and customer service.

Our man tasks

• Walk in and FIT sales
• Handling different booking platforms (for example travius, Hotellinx Cloud, Bokun, Mews)
• Direct customer service in Rovaniemi safari office and occationally in Vaattunki Wilderness Resort
• Handling bookings and customer service for Ounasvaaran Lakituvat Chalets

What we expect from you

• Excellent english skills (finnish or french language skill are considered as your benefit)
• Precision, self-initiation and good co-operation skills
• Previous experience from tourism industry in Lapland and booking channels (Travius, Bokun, Hotellinx, Mews) are seen as your benefit.
