We at Talented are excited to find an Embedded Software Engineer for Framery, a pioneer in workspace innovation. At Framery, you’ll be part of a team crafting cutting-edge digital solutions that redefine how workspaces are utilized worldwide. Your code will power tens of thousands of devices globally, making workspaces smarter, more efficient, and more user-friendly.

As an Embedded Software Engineer at Framery, you work on introducing immersive digital elements into Framery’s meeting pods that will extend and enhance the customer experience. You’ll join an experienced 8-person embedded team, where your expertise in embedded Linux will help shape innovative digital services and ensure our products are not only beautifully designed but also intelligent, connected in the IoT world, and future-ready.

We are looking for a person with proven experience in working with connected embedded Linux devices throughout the device lifecycle, from early specification to maintenance. As our devices are connected mainly through cellular networks we value experience from working with networking features of Linux. With new and exciting projects constantly kicking off, you’ll have the opportunity to be involved right from the start and make a real impact on the future of our smart pods.

You:

• Experience from embedded Linux software development
• Understanding of networking through cellular, WIFI and other IoT friendly communication methods
• Experience in hardware driver development
• Great Python and C skills
• Familiarity with Yocto SDK build process (or similar)
• Understanding of connected IoT devices and CAN devices
• Good spoken and written English
• Familiarity with AMQP and MQTT (or similar) is considered a big plus
• Previous experience from Mender Over-The-Air firmware update system, OpenVPN client device integration, CANopen system integration and/or PKI integration with device is considered as a plus
• Qt and C++ development experience is a plus
