A Fleet Crew Leader – job is available with the City of Fort Worth Property Management Department’s Fleet Division. The Fleet Division plays a large part in providing support for all City departments serving our residents. This position is open for multiple service centers throughout the City of Fort Worth. The Fleet Division is the "glue" which keeps the City equipment and vehicles in a mechanically sound state and safe for all employees and residents.
Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically require touching, talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, repetitive motions, climbing, balancing, pushing, and lifting, depending on assignment. Incumbents may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, odors, dust, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, intense noises, gases, vibrations, chemicals, oils, and workspace restrictions.
