GE HealthCare is seeking a Field Engineer to provide installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for Mammography and C-arm systems across Finland. The role is customer-facing and involves extensive travel to hospital sites.

The ideal candidate has a biomedical/electrical engineering background, hands-on experience with imaging systems, and fluency in Finnish with good English. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Competenze

Degree or technical education in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Medical Technology, IT, or equivalent.
Previous experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment.
Strong knowledge of X-ray technology and imaging systems.
Fluent Finnish and good English communication skills.

Mansioni

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Mammography and C-arm systems.
Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, networking, and system integration issues.
Execute system installations, upgrades, and modifications.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and radiation safety requirements.
Support customers in minimizing equipment downtime and maximizing system performance.
Work closely with clinical users, hospital IT departments, applications specialists, and project teams.
Maintain accurate service documentation and service reports.
Participate in on-call and emergency support activities as required.
