Job summary

Midwest Express Clinic is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to lead clinical care across Skokie and Northbrook locations. You will collaborate with Medical Assistants, radiology staff, and physicians to deliver efficient, high-quality care in MEC’s fast-paced network.

The ideal candidate holds an NP degree and an active IL/IN license, with strong communication and teamwork skills to support exceptional patient experiences and MEC standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois and/or Indiana.
• Ability to treat patients across the lifespan.
• Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Perform common urgent-care procedures.
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation in the EMR.
• Deliver compassionate, efficient care and create a welcoming environment.
