Job summary

Varjo is seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to join the Eye Tracking Team. You will develop and optimize C++ algorithm pipelines and ML models powering gaze-driven features in Varjo’s mixed reality products.

This role combines algorithm development, ML, tooling, data work, and performance optimization in a small, fast-moving team. The candidate should be proficient in C++ and Python, have strong analytical skills, and possess experience in computer vision or sensor fusion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with production-grade C++.
• Experience with complex C++ codebases, debugging, performance optimization.
• Strong Python skills for data pipelines and ML work.
• Experience in computer vision, machine learning, image processing, or sensor fusion.
• Experience delivering software within CI/CD and release processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize ML-driven C++ algorithm pipelines for eye tracking.
• Improve accuracy and runtime efficiency on resource-constrained hardware.
• Build and automate KPI/testing pipelines and visualizations for eye tracking performance.
• Work hands-on with human eye data to drive improvements and data processing pipelines.
