Job summary

ICEYE is seeking an experienced technician to build and verify RF and avionics subsystems for our satellite program. In a cleanroom production line, you will assemble units, verify performance, and hand fully traceable, flight-ready subsystems to the integration line.

You will work alongside AIT Engineering, Quality and the Integration team, learning breadth across avionics and RF hardware and owning the units you assemble from shelf to flight readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s & Master’s in electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in electronic or electro‑mechanical assembly, integration, or hardware test.
• Proficient use of basic test equipment such as multimeters and bench power supplies.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow controlled documentation, including schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail with static-sensitive hardware.
• Understanding of ESD-safe working practices.
• Willingness to travel across Europe.
• Willingness to work across avionics and RF hardware and learn new unit types.
• Proficient English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assemble avionics and RF subsystems to detailed, controlled work instructions.
• Perform electrical verification using the verification toolbox, bench power supplies, multimeters and unit-specific test setups.
• Cross-train across subsystem sets and progress toward independent sign-off.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists to confirm build configuration.
• Carry out peer visual inspection and share findings with colleagues.
• Identify non-conformances and support fault-finding and root-cause investigation.
