Job summary

A leading data centre solutions provider, located in Helsinki, is seeking an Environmental Manager to ensure compliance with environmental regulations on construction projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in environmental management, qualified as an Environmentalist, and possess at least 7 years of experience in the construction sector. Responsibilities include drafting environmental management plans, training site staff on best practices, and providing monthly environmental reports. Qualifications

• Qualified Environmentalist.
• 7 years’ experience within the construction sector.
• Experience working on High-Tec, Industrial, pharma, data centre type projects.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review the project Construction Environmental Management Plan.
• Review construction method statements to mitigate environmental risks.
• Provide toolbox talks on onsite environmental best practices.
• Identify and implement spill kit provisions and training.
• Perform emergency practice scenarios with the Site Manager.
• Ensure all onsite water discharges are clean and compliant.
• Provide monthly Environmental progress reports.
