Job summary
A leading data centre solutions provider, located in Helsinki, is seeking an Environmental Manager to ensure compliance with environmental regulations on construction projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in environmental management, qualified as an Environmentalist, and possess at least 7 years of experience in the construction sector. Responsibilities include drafting environmental management plans, training site staff on best practices, and providing monthly environmental reports. Qualifications
Qualified Environmentalist.
7 years’ experience within the construction sector.
Experience working on High-Tec, Industrial, pharma, data centre type projects.
Responsibilities
Draft and review the project Construction Environmental Management Plan.
Review construction method statements to mitigate environmental risks.
Provide toolbox talks on onsite environmental best practices.
Identify and implement spill kit provisions and training.
Perform emergency practice scenarios with the Site Manager.
Ensure all onsite water discharges are clean and compliant.
Provide monthly Environmental progress reports.
