Job summary

A data centre delivery partner in Helsinki is seeking a Mechanical Construction Manager to manage client communications, oversee project schedules, and ensure health and safety compliance. Ideal candidates should have a relevant Mechanical Qualification, previous experience in a similar role, and excellent communication skills. Qualifications

• Relevant Mechanical Qualification essential e.g. B. Eng Degree, City & Guilds Certificate, HNC/BTEC or NVQ.
• Previous experience in a similar role, within a Mechanical and Electrical contracting environment is desirable.
• Data Centre experience is advantageous.
• Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage relevant client communications.
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments for construction activities.
• Communicate with project team to sequence installation of pipework.
• Assess and manage the project commercially.
• Assist with documenting and costing of changes.
• Management of Project Schedule two weeks look ahead.
• Ensure the labour requirements are met.
• Ensure compliance and governance.
• Review ways of working to improve safety.
