Job summary

Wolt is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Unified Privacy Platform team, spanning a cross-brand effort with DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo. You will shepherd the next generation of privacy infrastructure, including consent, policy, and self-service data-rights experiences, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant systems at global scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in people management leading backend or platform teams.
• 8+ years of industry experience.
• Extensive experience designing large-scale distributed systems, APIs, policy/rules engines, or data-lifecycle systems.
• Preferred experience with privacy, consent, data governance, or regulatory systems (GDPR, CCPA, CPRA).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing backend/platform engineering team.
• Set technical strategy across the Privacy Center, Unified Privacy Platform, and Privacy Operations & Intelligence.
• Build cross-brand consent platforms with robust audit, state, and policy configurations.
• Translate complex legal/privacy requirements into scalable, reusable platform capabilities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams across brands and geographies to deliver privacy tooling at global scale.
