Job summary

RELEX Solutions is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Production Scheduling team. You will shape the technical direction and grow a five-person team, while staying hands-on enough to guide architecture without daily coding.

Based in Finland or Sweden with a fully remote-friendly setup, you will collaborate across global teams, apply AI in planning tools, and help define excellence for the group. This role offers meaningful work and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a software development team (5 engineers or more).
• Background in software development with understanding of architecture and trade-offs.
• Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills in a cross-functional setting.
• Experience in manufacturing operations and how planning tools are used in practice.
• Comfortable using AI in everyday work and developing AI tool strategies.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Bonus: experience working with international teams and strong communication and organization skills.

• Proven experience leading a software development team
• A software development background: understanding of architecture and technical trade-offs
• Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills: able to bring out the best in a technically strong, opinionated team without being overly directive
• Experience in manufacturing operations and how planning tools are used in practiceComfortable with using AI in your everyday work and developing the use of AI tools as a larger organizational strategy
• Fluent in written and spoken English
