Job summary

Metso is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the Plant Engineering team within Plant Solution Delivery, Mineral Business Area. You will guide engineering execution from initiation to delivery, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality targets are met across worldwide minerals processing plant projects.

You will collaborate with customers, project managers, partners, and suppliers while leading Chief Engineers and Design Leads across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in large-scale engineering, EPCM, or industrial plant projects.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinating complex project execution.
• Strong business understanding with solid technical and analytical capabilities.
• Leadership skills to inspire, motivate and develop team members.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally and support global project assignments when required.

• Support sales and proposal activities by defining engineering scopes, budgets, and execution strategies.
• Contribute to development and continuous improvement of minerals processing plant solutions.
• Serve as the primary engineering interface toward customers and key project stakeholders.
• Drive collaboration across global teams and partner organizations to achieve project objectives.

We are now looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our Plant Engineering team within Plant Solution Delivery, Mineral Business Area.

In this key role, you will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in the delivery of complex minerals processing plant projects around the world. You will be responsible for guiding engineering execution from project initiation through delivery, ensuring that technical solutions are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

As Engineering Manager, you will work closely with customers, project managers, partners, and suppliers while leading a team of Chief Engineers and Design Leads across multiple engineering disciplines. Your leadership and technical expertise will play a critical role in the successful execution of our projects and the continued development of Metso's industry-leading plant solutions.

Who You Are

• Strong business understanding combined with solid technical and analytical capabilities. Ability to prioritize activities, manage multiple stakeholders, and deliver results in a dynamic project environment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop team members.
• Strong customer focus and excellent collaboration skills. Proactive, solution-oriented, and hands‑on approach to problem‑solving.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
• Willingness to travel internationally and support global project assignments when required.
