Job summary

Wärtsilä is seeking a forward-looking Manager to lead the Engine Component and Performance Experts team within Product Lifecycle Management / Global Technical Services. This role combines deep technical understanding with modern people leadership to create measurable value for customers and for Wärtsilä.

The ideal candidate will be based in Vaasa, Finland, or Turku, Finland, with hybrid work options in Finland and Italy, and travel up to 20%.

• New Technologies are introduced within Technical Service well in advance to secure proper preparation of resources.
• R&D is considering lifecycle technical needs.
• Innovation culture is spread into Technical Service.
• New portfolio solutions are proposed for existing products.
