Job summary

Terveystalo is seeking an Emergency Physician to join Satasairaala's joint emergency and pediatric acute emergency services in Pori, Finland. The role involves working in a versatile, demanding emergency environment as part of an experienced team.

Shifts follow two models, including day and night blocks; pediatric evening shifts are scheduled. A licensed physician with at least one year of urgent care or emergency experience is required.

Qualifications

• A licensed physician with at least one year of experience in urgent care or emergency work in Finland.
• Must hold a Medical degree and be licensed to practice in Finland.
• Ability to work in a joint emergency setting and pediatric acute emergency as required.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients in the joint emergency and pediatric acute emergency services.
• Answer care calls and produce certificates, statements, and other written work per instructions.
• Work in versatile shifts, including 08:00–23:00 and 17:00–08:00, with pediatric evenings on Mondays and Fridays.

We are now looking for an Emergency Physician for general medicine and pediatric acute emergency services at Satasairaala. Terveystalo has won the competition of the Satakunta wellbeing area for Pori's joint emergency and pediatric acute emergency services. Operations started on June 1, 2026, and we are now looking for skilled emergency physicians to strengthen our team at Satasairaala's joint emergency.

Satasairaala's emergency service offers the opportunity to work in a versatile and demanding environment in a team of experienced professionals. Joint emergency shifts are available around the clock every day of the week, and evening shifts are available in pediatric acute emergency. The operation is located at Satasairaala, Sairaalantie 3, 28500 Pori. The pediatric acute emergency, operating in a separate space at night, is the responsibility of the joint emergency.

Joint emergency physician work includes two shift models: daily 08:00–23:00 and 17:00–08:00. Pediatric acute emergency shifts are on Mondays 15:00–22:00 and Fridays 15:00–22:00. The work is versatile and offers the opportunity to operate in a demanding emergency environment as part of an experienced team.

The physician's duties include examining and treating patients in the joint emergency, answering care calls, and producing necessary certificates, statements, and other written work according to the client's instructions. The position is suitable for a physician who enjoys versatile emergency work and wants to develop their skills. A licensed physician with at least one year of experience in urgent care or emergency work in Finland may apply.
