Overview

Beontag is looking for an Electronics Test Engineer to join our team in Tampere, Finland. In this role, you’ll be directly involved in testing and validating our cutting edge RFID and BLE solutions that enable smarter, more sustainable, and connected supply chains across the globe.

In Finland, we design and produce smart, wireless tracking technologies that help companies monitor assets, streamline operations, and gain real time visibility across their supply chains. From retail to logistics and healthcare, our products enable fast, accurate data capture and location tracking, making everyday processes more efficient, reliable, and connected.

As an Electronics Test Engineer, you’ll collaborate with our hardware and software development teams, product management, production, and quality to ensure our RFID and BLE products meet the highest standards. From testing embedded systems to building prototypes and validating performance in real world conditions, your work will help ensure these intelligent technologies are as reliable as they are innovative.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute validation tests for RFID and BLE products, ensuring they meet functional, quality, and performance requirements
• Test embedded software and firmware systems, including tool verification and device-level diagnostics
• Build prototypes and samples to support development and product line management
• Develop and improve testing methodologies for both hardware and software
• Analyze test results and generate clear, actionable reports
• Support production and quality teams in identifying and solving issues
• Maintain lab equipment and testing environments to ensure consistent and reliable testing conditions
• Participate in project work related to new product development and continuous improvement
  
  

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field
• Familiarity with RF design principles and wireless communications (BLE, RFID) is highly valued
• Experience with basic level programming (e.g., Python) for test automation or data analysis
• Structured and detail oriented mindset, with solid analytical and documentation skills
• Comfortable planning and carrying out test tasks independently while collaborating with cross functional teams
• Strong team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Fluent in Finnish and English
  
  

Location: This position is based at our Tampere, Finland site.

Reporting Line: This role reports to Product Development Lead
