Job summary

Qualifications

• Electronics technologist diploma or equivalent with hands-on EMS experience.
• Minimum 6 months in electronics manufacturing or similar environment.
• Ability to read schematics and manufacturing drawings; strong test equipment knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot protection and control relays on the production line.
• Analyze product failures and perform root cause investigations.
• Set up test equipment, systems, fixtures, and instruments.

• Maintain electronically controlled machines and test rigs.
• Support prototype and pilot builds related to ECOs.
• Process non-conforming materials and document defects in ERP.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem solving.

• Assist with final assembly, packaging, audits, and shipment prep.
• Support production metrics such as output and first-pass yield targets.
• Perform electronic assembly duties as needed.

• Assist with final assembly, packaging, audits, and shipment preparation when required.
• Support achievement of production metrics including output, quality, and first-pass yield targets.
• Perform electronic assembly duties as needed.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications Required

• Electronics Technologist Diploma/Certificate or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum 6 months experience in electronics manufacturing services (EMS) or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of: Electronic test equipment and fixtures Soldering equipment Microscopes Mechanical gauges Ability to read and interpret: Electrical schematics Manufacturing drawings Specifications and standards Strong computer skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused mindset.
• Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for up to 6 hours at a time.
• Ability to bend, stretch, and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs (16 kg).
