Job summary

Manpower in Finland is recruiting experienced electricians for our international client’s datacenter projects in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. You will install, test, commission, and maintain building management systems (BMS) and related electrical infrastructure across multiple sites, coordinating with commissioning engineers, project managers, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure quality and safety.

The assignment starts ASAP and is planned for about 12 months.

Qualifications

• Reading electrical drawings, schematics, or technical docs.

• Willingness to travel between project sites in Helsinki Metro area.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical and automation cabling for BMS and control systems.
• Install, connect, and test field devices, sensors, actuators, controllers, and control panels.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Support testing, commissioning, start-up, and handover activities.
• Perform inspections, fault finding, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure installation quality, compliance, and electrical safety.
• Coordinate installation activities with project teams and sub-contractors.
• Maintain installation records and documentation.

Job description

We are recruiting experienced ELECTRICIANS for our international client’s datacenter projects in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. In this role, you will work across multiple datacenter construction sites, supporting the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of building management systems (BMS) and related electrical infrastructure. You will work closely with commissioning engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure that all electrical and automation installations meet project requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations. This position offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging and high-profile projects within a rapidly growing industry. The assignment starts ASAP and is expected to continue for approximately 12 months. The successful candidate can be employed under a fixed-term employment contract or engaged through a contractor agreement, depending on their situation and preferences.

Key responsibilities:

• Install electrical and automation cabling for BMS and control systems

What we are looking for:

• Electrical qualification, vocational education, or equivalent certification as an Electrician
• Previous experience in electrical installation work within construction, industrial, infrastructure, or building services environments
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
• Experience with control systems, automation installations, or building management systems (BMS)
• Experience in electrical testing, inspections, and fault finding
• Good understanding of electrical safety practices and site regulations
• Good written and spoken English communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a construction project environment
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel between project sites within the Helsinki Metropolitan Area
• Valid right to work in Finland
• Valid Occupational Safety Card and Electrical Safety Card

Details:

The positions are based in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area across multiple datacenter construction sites. The assignment starts ASAP and will last approximately 12 months. Working hours are between Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
