Job summary

Caverion in Vantaa is seeking an experienced electrician to support our projects in the Helsinki metropolitan area. You will perform electrical installations, read diagrams, and collaborate with a skilled team to deliver safe, functioning buildings.

Ideal candidates have a few years of hands-on electrical experience, a basic qualification in electrical and automation, and a customer-service mindset. A driving license (B-class) and fluency in Finnish are essential.

Job description

You will join a team of professionals where tasks are handled and projects completed. We are looking for a motivated electrician for a permanent position in Vantaa.

You have a few years of hands-on experience in electrical installations, you know the common installation materials and you master the basic skills of the trade. You do not need to know everything from day one—an initiative mindset, interest in the field and willingness to learn and develop your skills are most important.

Job description:

We work mainly in new-build and renovation projects, where you will perform diverse electrical installations. You will work both independently and as part of a skilled team. The job sites are mainly in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Working hours are generally on weekdays from 7:00 to 15:30. Occasional overtime may be required according to project needs. A security clearance will be performed with the candidate's consent.

To succeed you have:

• electrical and automation basic qualification
• B-class driving license
• a few years of practical experience in electrical installations
• basic ability to read electrical drawings and identify diagram symbols
• proactive and responsible approach
• willingness to learn and further develop your skills
• ability to work independently and as part of a team
• customer-service mindset and fluent Finnish language skills.

We see these as a plus:

• valid electrical safety and occupational safety cards
• experience in new-build and renovation electrical installations and fault finding
• strong problem-solving and customer-service skills
• experience with DALI lighting control systems and electrical installations in HVAC systems
• S2 certificate
• understanding of site operations, schedules, and coordination between contractors.
