Electrical Specialist – BESS & PV Projects - Finland - €Excellent Hourly Rate + Expenses - Hybrid Role (Remote with Occasional Site Visits) - 12 Month Contract + Extensions - ASAP Start Date

Our client, a globally renowned leading PV & BESS inverter manufacturer, are shifting from outsourcing expensive electrical supervision to building an in-house team under its SDC structure. This is your opportunity to lead that transformation. You’ll oversee two Finland-based field service engineers (with more projects and technicians coming online), and be the key decision-maker in ensuring all electrical work is carried out safely and to Finnish standards.

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensure electrical safety and compliance across all Finnish projects.
• Provide strategic direction and support to electricians and Field Service Engineers (FSEs).
• Be the go-to person for technical electrical queries: "Can we energise this safely?", "Is this safe to work on?", etc.
• Develop and implement electrical safety programmes.
• Support 5 current projects in Finland, with up to 10 more launching this year.
• Engage in site visits as needed, especially during initial onboarding and project setup.

Requirements:

• Certified Electrician or Electrical Engineer with valid S1 certification for low- and high-voltage (LV/HV) work in Finland.
• Fluent Finnish speaker – mandatory.
• Finnish or Nordic nationality (Swedish certifications may be transferable if aligned).
• Experience in the energy sector (power plants, factories, PV, BESS, etc.).
• Solid understanding of Finnish electrical regulations and safety protocols.
• Ideally, a background in Renewable Energy (PV or BESS exposure a plus, not essential).
• Ability to provide remote leadership with occasional site travel.
