Job summary

DayOne, a global leader in data infrastructure, seeks an experienced Project Manager (Electrical) to lead electrical engineering packages for mission-critical data center projects in Finland. The role covers HV/LV distribution, UPS, switchgear, generators, and safety compliance.

You will collaborate with design, construction, operations, consultants, and vendors to align on timelines, budgets, and quality. Travel to sites is required; strong communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong background and in-depth knowledge of electrical systems in mission-critical environments.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in English, Finnish is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel and be on-site as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver electrical engineering packages for data center projects.
• Oversee HV/LV power distribution, UPS, switchgear, generators, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders for project alignment.
• Manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables using project management tools.
• Ensure documentation, drawings, RFIs, submittals, and reports are complete.
• Manage subcontractors, quality, safety, and on-site productivity.
• Track project costs, approve invoices, and handle change orders.
• Conduct site visits, status meetings, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Provide technical expertise and drive improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance.
