Job summary

Patria Oyj is seeking an Electrical Designer in Hämeenlinna to lead wide-ranging electrical design for vehicles and systems. The role requires a degree in electrical/electronics/automation engineering and a project-based mindset with strong collaboration across stakeholders.

You will work with E3, NX, and Teamcenter to create diagrams, 3D models, assembly layouts, and drafting specifications. Occasional travel is expected as project needs arise, and English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's in electrical/electronics/automation engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical entities and their effects in projects.
• Experience with project-based work and project management is advantageous.
• Good English language skills and willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for vehicles and assemblies.
• Create cable designs, circuits, diagrams, and interconnections.
• Develop electrical 3D models and cable modeling with NX/Teamcenter.
• Produce system descriptions, definitions, verifications, and drafting specs.
• Support commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Maintenance design.

Protected Mobility is responsible for the sale, offering, and delivery of new vehicles and vehicle systems. We are now looking for a reinforcement for our international projects in Hämeenlinna as an Electrical Designer.

What kind of expert are we looking for:

You are an electrical, electronics, or automation engineering Master's/Bachelor's degree engineer or have equivalent work experience/expertise. Success in the position requires an understanding of broad electrical technical entities and their effects. A project-based way of working and experience in project management are a clear advantage, as is the ability to familiarize oneself with and solve electrical problems in cooperation with other stakeholders. The applicant is required to have good English language skills and occasional willingness to travel according to project needs.

We hope the applicant has expertise/interest in the following areas:

• Cable design, circuit and main diagrams and interconnections with E3 electrical design software.
• Electrical assemblies, 3D models and cable modeling with Siemens NX/Teamcenter tools.

Additionally, the tasks will include:

• System functional descriptions
• Component definitions and drafting specifications
• Component verification
• Drafting inspection instructions for electrical systems
• Commissioning / troubleshooting of electrical systems
• Maintenance design
