Job summary

Orion Pharma is seeking an Electrical Installer for a permanent role at Fermion's plant in Hanko. You will perform calibration, installation, repair and routine maintenance of facility technology, production equipment and utilities to ensure pharmaceutical-grade precision and safety.

The role requires reading technical drawings, applying basic computer skills and working both independently and as part of a team, with day shifts Monday to Friday and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Degree-based education in electrical and automation and experience in industrial electricity.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings; basic computer skills; willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; precision and commitment to goals.
• Good Finnish language skills; English is an advantage.
• Must pass health check, including a drug test, and security clearance.

Orion is seeking an Electrical Installer for a permanent position at Fermion's plant in Hanko, as part of the maintenance organization. The role involves performing calibration, installation, repair, and maintenance work for facility technology, production equipment, and utility systems, ensuring the precision required for pharmaceutical manufacturing and maintaining safety. The employee will actively handle tasks and work independently using various systems (ERP, calibration) and report through them. The work is day-shift based, primarily Monday to Friday, including weekend shifts. The Hanko plant's summer shutdown typically occurs in July, during which the maintenance organization plays a key role. A comprehensive induction and support are provided in the developing environment of the pharmaceutical industry.

Requirements

• A degree-based education (e.g., vocational qualification in electrical and automation) and experience in industrial electricity.


• Candidates should be able to read technical documents and drawings, have basic computer and software skills, and be active with a willingness to learn.


• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, precision, and commitment to department goals are essential.


• Good oral and written Finnish is required as it is the working language for documentation and instructions. English skills are considered an advantage.
