Job description

Northern Lights Village is an experiential hotel concept that offers unforgettable Northern Lights experiences and high-quality travel services in Lapland. We employ over 300 seasonal workers across our three stunning locations: Levi, Saariselkä, and Pyhä. We are now looking for a Reception Supervisor to join our fully experienced and dynamic team!

Job Description

As a Reception Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the hotel’s reception operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. You will work closely with other departments, such as housekeeping and the restaurant, to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities of the Reception Supervisor:
  1. Daily operations: Oversee daily reception tasks, reservation management, and customer service.
  2. Customer service: Ensure high-quality service by promptly handling guest requests and issues.
  3. Staff management: Lead, schedule, train, and motivate the reception team.
  4. Collaboration: Work effectively with other hotel departments for smooth operations.
  5. Reporting and administrative tasks: Handle reporting, budgeting, and analyze customer feedback.
Qualifications:
  • Strong background in hotel reception management.
  • Excellent English skills and advanced IT proficiency.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and manage staff effectively.
  • Positive attitude, solution-focused, creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation: friendly, patient, quick problem solver.
  • Organizational skills for reservations, shift planning, and administrative tasks, with hands-on experience with collective agreement (MARA).
  • Effective communication skills with guests and staff.

Employment Details:
