Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a creative instructional designer to transform complex information into engaging digital learning experiences for an Australian organization. This fully remote, six-month contract role involves collaborating with subject matter experts to develop interactive content, storyboard, and ensure LMS and SCORM compliance.

You’ll blend instructional design with multimedia development, apply HTML/CSS for minor tweaks, and contribute through the full learning development

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in instructional design or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with Articulate.
• Experience with LMS and SCORM.
• Strong visual design and storyboarding skills.
• Experience writing instructional copy and audio/video scripts.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Nice to have Moodle and Adobe Creative Cloud experience.
• Experience in an RTO is not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop interactive digital and multimedia learning materials using Articulate.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to transform complex information into clear, engaging online learning experiences.
• Create storyboards, instructional copy, and audio/video scripts supporting learning objectives.
• Develop, organize, and manage learning content for LMS and SCORM-compliant environments.
• Conduct usability testing and quality assurance to ensure resources deliver a positive learner experience.
• Ensure materials comply with standards, guidelines, copyright, and IP regulations.
• Develop supporting resources and training for effective e-learning delivery.
• Support design, development, implementation, and handover of e-learning projects.
• Work with instructional designers, SMEs, and stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget.
• Review existing programs and recommend improvements to methods, content, and delivery.
• Stay informed about instructional design practices and learning technology trends.

This is an opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented instructional designer to transform complex information into engaging, effective digital learning experiences. In this fully remote, six-month contract role, you’ll collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop interactive learning content for an Australian organization. You’ll combine instructional design, multimedia development, and learning technology to create resources that are accessible, visually appealing, and aligned with learning objectives. From storyboarding and content development to LMS implementation and quality assurance, you’ll contribute throughout the learning development lifecycle. You’ll also have the opportunity to improve existing programs, explore emerging learning technologies, and recommend innovative approaches. Accountabilities

• Develop interactive digital and multimedia learning materials using Articulate authoring tools.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to transform complex information into clear, engaging, and effective online learning experiences.
• Create storyboards, instructional copy, and audio and video scripts to support learning objectives.
• Develop, organize, and manage learning content for Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM-compliant environments.
• Conduct usability testing and quality assurance to ensure learning resources function reliably and deliver a positive learner experience.
• Ensure learning materials comply with applicable standards, visual guidelines, copyright requirements, and intellectual property regulations.
• Develop supporting resources and training to facilitate effective e-learning delivery.
• Support the design, development, implementation, and handover of e-learning projects.
• Work closely with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Review existing learning programs and recommend improvements to instructional methods, content, processes, and delivery.
• Stay informed about instructional design practices and learning technology trends, identifying opportunities to improve learning outcomes.

Requirements

• At least two years of relevant experience in instructional design, education, or training, and/or relevant tertiary qualifications in e-learning technology or instructional design.
• Hands-on experience developing interactive multimedia learning content using Articulate.
• Practical experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) and a strong understanding of SCORM.
• Strong visual design, storyboarding, and instructional content development skills.
• Experience writing instructional copy and audio and video scripts.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for making minor code amendments.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with subject matter experts and diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, quality assurance, usability, deadlines, and learning outcomes.
• Preferred: Experience with Moodle and familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud or other relevant creative software.
• Experience in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) is not required.
