Job summary

Qualifications

• B-driver's license or equivalent

Job description

We are seeking a driver guide for XWander in Rovaniemi on a full-time basis to respond to customer transportation and guiding on experience trips and daily activities in Lapland. The role includes performing city tours of Rovaniemi and customer transports to Napapiiri, Ranua Wildlife Park, the S Arctic icebreaker, as well as local husky and reindeer farms and other activity destinations. Occasional longer relocations such as Rovaniemi–Ivalo with temporary lodging in Ivalo. The emphasis is on customer service during travel; ensuring smooth, timely transports, handling luggage, and routine vehicle maintenance between shifts (refueling, cleanliness, equipment upkeep). You will work in a practical, safety-first manner. The position starts in early November and lasts until the end of March 2027. Salary by agreement and experience; terms follow the Program Service Industry collective agreement. Housing may be available in Lapland for the winter season at a reasonable rent.

Requirements:

• B-driver's license and a clean driving history
• Previous strong winter driving experience with a minibus
• Strong analytical and navigation skills and ability to coordinate transports precisely to schedule
• Fluency in Finnish and English; other languages are a plus
• Good stress tolerance and flexibility
• Desire to provide excellent customer service
• First aid certificate EA1 and/or EA2
