Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Wilderness Hotels in Inari, Lapland, is hiring Dishwashers / Kitchen Assistants for the winter season 2026–2027. You will wash dishes, organise kitchen tools, and help keep areas clean while supporting the team in busy shifts.
Role includes potential simple food prep and other duties as needed. No formal chef training required; reliability, willingness to learn, and teamwork are key.
We are looking for Dishwashers / Kitchen Assistants to join our kitchen teams for the winter season 2026–2027.
This is a hands-on role where you help keep the kitchen running smoothly. Washing dishes and keeping things organised are a big part of the job, but there is more to it than that. Depending on the day and your skills, you may also help the chefs with simple food preparation and other kitchen tasks.
You don't need to be a trained chef. What matters most is that you're ready to work, learn and be part of the team.
The kitchen is a busy place, and clean dishes and equipment need to be ready when they are needed. You will take care of washing dishes, keeping kitchen tools and plates organised and making sure everything finds its way back to where it belongs.
You will also help keep the kitchen and working areas clean and tidy throughout the shift.
Your work may also include simple food preparation and helping the chefs with everyday kitchen tasks. The exact tasks depend on the location, the day and your experience.
The idea is simple: you help wherever you are needed so that the kitchen team can focus on preparing great food for our guests.
You won't be working in isolation. You'll be part of an international kitchen team where everyone has their own role, but where helping each other is part of getting the job done.
Some days are faster than others, but there is always something useful to do. If you like staying active and seeing the results of your work, you'll probably feel at home here.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is reliable, willing to work and ready to be part of the team.
Working in Lapland is more than just a job.
Our locations are in the municipality of Inari, well above the Arctic Circle. During the winter season, you'll experience snow, polar night, northern lights and, later in the season, the return of the sun.
When your shift is over, nature is right outside. Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and winter cycling are all easy ways to spend your free time – or you can simply enjoy the peace and quiet after a day at work.
You'll also get Wilderness Hotels' employee benefits and the possibility of staff accommodation.
Our staff apartments are clean and fully equipped – in practice, you only need to bring your toothbrush and warm outdoor clothing. During the winter season, accommodation is shared, with two employees per room.
