Role Description

The Designer / Junior Designer role at Vahva is a full-time, on-site position based in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. In this role, you will support the creation of visual concepts for digital and print materials, including marketing assets, product interfaces, and brand collateral. You will collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to translate business needs into clear, engaging designs that align with Vahva’s brand identity. Day-to-day tasks may include preparing design drafts, iterating on feedback, maintaining design libraries, and ensuring consistent visual standards across all channels. You will also assist in user-centered design work, such as refining layouts and visuals to improve clarity, usability, and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to create clean, consistent visual designs for digital products and marketing materials, with a strong eye for layout, typography, and color.
• Basic proficiency with common design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, or similar) and willingness to learn new tools as needed.
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and interest in designing intuitive, accessible interfaces and customer touchpoints.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow brand guidelines, and openness to feedback and iterative design processes.
