Job summary

Enersense Engineering is seeking a Design Manager in Porvoo to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design work on a large-scale tank renewal project. You will work closely with the Project Manager, driving design across civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, automation, and process disciplines.

The role starts as part-time for 6-8 months during pre-design, with scope expanding as the project progresses.

Qualifications

• Experience with large industrial design projects, brownfield preferred.
• Good understanding of design processes across disciplines and local regulations.
• Experience in project planning, pre-design phase, and implementation support.
• Site experience and knowledge of tanks, pumps, piping, valves.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design functions with Project Manager across disciplines.
• Lead design team and distribute tasks; plan resources and schedules.
• Support conceptual design during pre-design phase.
• Ensure design meets standards, regulations, and project goals.
• Maintain design documentation and report project progress.
