Job summary

WorkPower Rakennus Polaris Oy is seeking a demolition worker to perform safe and efficient demolition of buildings and structures. Projects include renovation and total demolition; tasks include manual demolition, chipping, milling, grinding, and diamond drilling and sawing depending on your skill.

Travel may be required; a valid occupational safety card is required. We provide workwear and protective equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be of legal age.
• Valid occupational safety card.
• Having access to own car is a plus but not required; commuting by public transport is possible for many sites.
• Willingness to travel is an asset as some sites may be farther away.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual demolition, chipping, milling, grinding, and diamond drilling and sawing as per skill.
• Hoisting, cleanup and general housekeeping at sites as needed.

Job description

We are seeking a demolition worker for safe and efficient demolition of various buildings and structures. Work sites mainly consist of renovation and total demolition projects. Tasks may include manual demolition, chipping, milling, grinding and diamond drilling and sawing as per your skill. Depending on the site, other daily tasks may involve hoisting, cleanup and general housekeeping. The work is temporary/contract-based with durations depending on client needs. We look for a person with a proactive approach and good physical condition. Prior demolition experience and the ability to use your own car are a plus. Travel may be required. A valid occupational safety card is required.

You will have a supportive team you can reach by WhatsApp or by phone.

For all employees we offer at least the salary set by the construction industry collective agreement for demolition work, generally around 14.19–17.12 EUR/hour, depending on prior experience.
