Job summary

Nokia Defense is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to secure, mission-critical connectivity solutions. You will design, develop, and test software for wireless and defense systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive architectural decisions and maintain high-quality code.

Entry to mid-level professionals with a passion for technology and a NATO-level security clearance focus are welcome.

Qualifications

BSc./MSc. in Telecommunications, Electronics, CS, Software Engineering or related field.
Experience with C/C++ programming.
Experience with VM deployments using Docker containers.
Interest in AI tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions for Nokia Defense Connectivity projects.
Write and implement high-quality, maintainable code leveraging AI and modern software engineering practices.
Conduct unit, integration, and cross-component testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
Analyze and resolve complex technical issues in telecommunications, networking, and defense systems.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making processes.
Collaborate with architects, technical leads, and integration teams to align on system design and implementation.
Support agile development activities, including CI, automation, and DevOps practices.
Ensure adherence to Nokia’s quality, security, and defense compliance standards.
